more About the wellness blog
Meet Carly
Iโm so glad you’re here! My Christian wellness blog is here to help you create a life of balance and fulfillment through three core principles: minimalism, self-care, and personal development. Whether youโre simplifying your space, nurturing your mind and body, or growing into the best version of yourself, Iโm here to guide you and stay by your side every step of the way.
If you’re passionate about wellness and ready to embrace these life-changing habits, I invite you to sign up for my newsletterโDon’t worry, I don’t send spam.
Welcome to my wellness blog,
I’m so glad you’re here!
In recent years I’ve realized how important wellness is. That’s why I started this wellness blog.
I know how critical it is to make sure you have time to do what you want to do, and time to take care of your own needs. In this busy world, I think we often forget about ourselves in that aspect – at least, I do.
The purpose of my wellness blog is to help bring more attention to what we all need from time to time – a little pampering self care, minimalism, and time for growth. Even the less physical and more psychological things matter, such as healthy relationships, self esteem, forgiving, etc..
Whether you love taking milk baths, reading, or going out with friends, you deserve those luxuries and the time to do them. You work hard every single day, and if you’re a parent, you especially work hard for other people, constantly putting yourself to the sidelines.
Let’s change that.
My wellness blog helps you learn to love yourself again and give yourself time to refuel. Why? Because you deserve that much.
Here’s a photo (right) of my fluffy puppies, Dixie and Trigger, hopefully to make your heart smile! Trigger (bottom) was in the middle of telling me how rude I was for not letting him bring his toy outside.
xoxo

Wellness things I love…
Bubble baths
It’s one of my favorite ways to relax after a long, busy week. Bubble baths will always be a part of my wellness routine.
Reading
Whether I’m reading my Bible, personal growth books, or something fictional, reading gives me a safe place to go from time to time.
writing
I take journaling very seriously. It’s a simple and healthy (not to mention cost-effective) way to release negative emotions and thoughts, or remember good ones.
visiting family
It’s refreshing to catch up. I try and check in weekly, especially with grandparents.
waking up earlier
While I used to be a night owl, I now prefer being an early riser. Alone time in the morning is important to help structure my day.
taking trips
Getting away from time to time is refreshing and allows for a mental reset.
trying new food
I’ve been experimenting a lot with new and improved healthy recipes!
Running and exercising
As a previous track runner in school, running gives me a sense of peace and accomplishment. I always feel great after I do physical activities.
